In 2019, I graduated from the full time classical homeopathic program at the Academy of Homeopathy Education. I also have a strong background in science and engineering. I graduated with honors from the Integrated Science and Technology program at James Madison University. After graduation I spent over 10 years working as a systems engineer for Lockheed Martin. I had two children and decided to stay home to raise them for several years, entering back into the work force as a preschool teacher.
As with many people, the journey toward homeopathy begins with a personal reason. I struggled with an autoimmune condition since my early 20s, but it was my son’s diagnosis with Crohn’s disease at the age of 3 that sent me into a frenzy. There is nothing more motivating than a parent that is faced with their child’s newly diagnosed chronic disease. We scoured the internet, saw many different doctors (specialists, integrative doctors, chiropractors, naturopaths), changed our diet, modified our lifestyle, and every other thing you can do when you have a sick child. This is the time that homeopathy came into my life.
I am forever grateful that in the midst of that strife, I was led to a system of medicine that spoke to my innate understanding of our body’s ability to heal itself. My son (age 14), my daughter (age 12), and I are now healthy and thriving! After years of using homeopathy for my entire family, I could no longer resist the urge to learn more. My passion is to partner with others as they take their journey toward elevated health. From personal experience, homeopathy is the critical center of that goal.
